Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL) has received a Letter of Acceptance for a captive power plant project from Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL), valued between ₹1,200-1,500 crore. The project is part of SAIL's expansion at the IISCO Steel Plant in Burnpur and will be executed on a turnkey basis over 39 months. This contract enhances BHEL's position in the power generation sector.
