Coal India Ltd and Damodar Valley Corporation have entered into a ₹21,000 cr Joint Venture to develop a 1,600 MW coal-fired thermal power plant in Chandrapura, Jharkhand. The project will feature two 800 MW ultra-supercritical units and aims for commercial operations by FY 2031-32.
