Ebix Technologies, a subsidiary of Eraaya Lifespaces, has launched India's first statewide NCMC smartcard programme in Maharashtra, targeting 70 lakh cards in the first year. This initiative, backed by the state government, aims to facilitate digital mobility for over 50 passenger categories under MSRTC. Shares of Eraaya Lifespaces rose 2.6% to ₹23.74 following the announcement.
