India has attracted $7 billion from foreign institutional investors (FIIs) following government initiatives to stabilize the rupee, according to SBI Research. The rupee has appreciated 2.2% since May, aided by measures like tax exemptions on sovereign bonds and subsidized hedging costs. However, renewed geopolitical tensions may pressure the exchange rate further.
