Gujarat Narmada Valley Fert & Chem (GNFC) has approved a ₹450 crore expansion of its Ammonium Nitrate Melt production capacity, increasing it by 163,000 tonnes. This project is part of a broader capital expenditure plan totaling ₹2,800 crores.

The expansion will nearly double GNFC's AN Melt capacity to approximately 338,000 tonnes per annum, enhancing its chemical production capabilities significantly. This move may strengthen GNFC's position in the chemical sector.
