Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam Ltd. (GUVNL) concluded its tender for 335 MW/670 MWh of battery storage, with a tariff of ₹2.10 lakh/MW/month. Advait Energy secured 150 MW at this rate, while Equentia Natural Resources and Sundrops Energia were allocated 65 MW and 120 MW respectively at ₹2.12 lakh/MW/month.
These projects, eligible for viability gap funding, will enhance energy storage capacity in Gujarat, supporting state DISCOMs during peak hours.
