Hindalco Industries is confident in its $5 billion capital expenditure for the Bay Minette aluminium project, led by its US subsidiary Novelis. Initially estimated at $2.5 billion, costs rose to $4.1 billion amid inflation and labor competition. This marks the first fully integrated aluminium plant in the US in nearly 40 years.
