Icra forecasts Q4 GDP growth to slow to 7%, down from 7.8% in the previous quarter, primarily due to the ongoing Iran war affecting energy prices and supply chains. The agency also revised FY27 growth down to 6.2% from 6.5%. This slowdown is attributed to weaker industrial and services sector performance, alongside rising input costs impacting manufacturing margins. 📉

• Merchandise exports contracted 2.8% YoY in Q4 FY26, particularly in textiles and pharmaceuticals.

• Government data release for annual and Q4 macro data is delayed to 7 June 2023.
