India has secured 92,700 tonnes of LPG from two vessels, Shivalik and Nanda Devi, crossing the Strait of Hormuz. This shipment can fill around 68 lakh gas cylinders, addressing a significant portion of the country's daily demand of 55 lakh cylinders. The cargo is expected to arrive at Mundra and Kandla Ports on 16 and 17 March respectively, easing concerns over LPG shortages amid regional tensions.
