44,000 tons of LPG

On 4 Apr 2023, the Indian Ministry of Petroleum announced the purchase of Iranian crude oil for the first time since May 2019. This comes amid disruptions in Middle Eastern supplies and follows the temporary lifting of US sanctions on Iranian oil. Additionally, India has imported 44,000 tons of LPG, currently being unloaded at Mangalore port.
