Kalpataru Projects International secured new power transmission and distribution orders worth ₹2,031 crore across India and international markets, while its Swedish subsidiary Linjemontage i Grästorp AB received an additional order worth approximately ₹194 crore. The announcements came as the company’s shares traded lower on Tuesday, 13 Oct 2026, despite the fresh order inflow. ⚡
The new awards strengthen visibility for the engineering, procurement and construction company’s transmission and distribution business, which is benefiting from investment in grid expansion, transmission infrastructure and renewable-energy integration. The Swedish order, valued at approximately SEK 200 million, also adds to the company’s international execution pipeline and broadens the geographic contribution to order inflows.
Order inflow ₹2,031 cr is the key disclosed development for the India and international T&D business. The separate Sweden award of ₹194 cr order provides an additional overseas project win through the subsidiary. Management said sustained order momentum and integrated EPC capabilities positioned the business to participate in continued infrastructure spending. 🏗️
OI Charts data showed the shares closed at ₹1,418 on 12 Oct 2026, up 1.9% on the day, with volume of 93,522. The stock gained 2.9% over five sessions but remained 1.0% lower over 20 sessions. It traded between ₹1,007, recorded on 23 Mar 2026, and ₹1,490, recorded on 6 Oct 2026, during the past year. The close was therefore near the recent 52-week high, even as the news-day reaction was lower.
Investors will watch the company’s next order announcements, execution progress, revenue conversion and margin performance to assess whether the awards translate into operating growth. The direction of public and private spending on transmission networks, grid strengthening and renewable integration will remain important for the broader infrastructure and power-equipment segment. 📈
