L&T secures $140 million Kuwait substation project

Larsen & Toubro (L&T) has been awarded a KD43 million ($140 million) contract by Kuwait's Public Authority for Housing Welfare to establish 132/11kV substations in the South Sabah Al Ahmad residential area. This project involves the supply, installation, and maintenance of 10 main transformer stations.

This contract marks L&T's second award for substation work in the region, following a similar contract awarded to National Contracting Company last month. The successful execution of this project may enhance L&T's reputation in international markets.
