Retail inflation is projected to ease to 0.2% to 0.6% in October, down from 1.5% in September, driven by lower vegetable prices and GST cuts. This decline may prompt the Reserve Bank of India to revise its inflation forecast for FY26 and consider a rate cut in December or February. 📉

The official CPI data will be released on 12 Nov 2023.
