The Centre has concluded the largest electric bus tender under the PM E-DRIVE scheme, with PMI Electro winning orders for 5,210 buses out of 10,900. This positions PMI as the largest electric bus manufacturer in India, holding a 25% market share of the 4,239 electric buses sold in 2025. EKA Mobility and Olectra follow with 3,485 and 1,785 buses, respectively.
