The Reserve Bank of India has proposed draft norms allowing regulated entities (REs), including banks and NBFCs, to have complete discretion in designing and implementing resolution plans during natural calamities. This initiative aims to rationalize existing prudential norms and harmonize regulatory instructions across different REs. Public comments are invited until 17 Feb 2024.
