Renault plans to introduce a strong hybrid version of the Duster by Diwali 2026, integrating localised hybrid technology from Horse Powertrain. This initiative is part of a USD 370 million investment aimed at enhancing the Chennai plant's capabilities. The hybrid Duster will combine a 1.8-litre petrol engine with a 1.4 kWh battery pack, aligning with Renault-Nissan's broader product strategy in India.
