Rail Vikas Nigam Ltd (RVNL) has been awarded the ₹242.5 crore contract for the Overhead Equipment (OHE) modification project on the South Central Railway’s Ongole–Gudur section. The project aims to upgrade the existing electrification system to a 2×25 kV feeding system and is set to be completed within 24 months. This win follows RVNL's earlier success in securing a ₹87.56 crore contract for a video surveillance system in LHB coaches.
