SMS Group, in partnership with MCK Kutty Engineers, has secured a contract from SAIL for two coke dry quenching (CDQ) systems at the IISCO Steel Plant in Burnpur, West Bengal. Each CDQ will process 130 tons of coke per hour, enhancing operational efficiency for the new coke oven batteries 13 and 14.
