Tata Power has received a Letter of Intent from REC Power Development for the acquisition of Jejuri Hinjewadi Power Transmission Ltd. The project, developed on a Build-Own-Operate-Transfer basis, will involve 115 km of transmission line and is expected to generate an annual transmission charge of ₹155.78 cr. The project aims to be operational within 24 months of the SPV transfer.
