The Union cabinet has approved the ₹8,398 crore Greenfield Outer Ring Road project, connecting Vizhinjam and Navaikulam. Environmental clearance has been granted by the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change, allowing the project to proceed with completion expected in 30 months. This initiative will enhance connectivity across 24 villages in six Taluks, boosting local infrastructure and economic growth.
