The proposed bank strike has been postponed following a meeting between the Indian Banks Association and the United Forum of Bank Unions. As a result, branches of SBI, HDFC Bank, and PNB will operate normally. A committee will be formed to discuss declaring remaining Saturdays as holidays and the Performance Linked Incentive scheme.
