Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam Ltd. (GUVNL) concluded its tender for 335 MW/670 MWh of battery energy storage, achieving a tariff of ₹2.10 lakh/MW/month. Advait Energy secured 150 MW at this rate, while Equentia Natural Resources and Sundrops Energia received 65 MW and 120 MW respectively at ₹2.12 lakh/MW/month. The projects will operate under a build-own-operate model, providing essential storage capacity for GUVNL during peak demand hours.
