Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL) will invest ₹3,064.46 crore in a joint venture with Coal India Limited over four years. This partnership aims to establish a coal-to-ammonium nitrate plant with a capacity of 2,000 tonnes per day. The move supports the government's initiative for coal gasification and reduces chemical import dependence.
Additionally, BHEL is forming another joint venture in the rail segment, further diversifying its operations.
