The Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs has approved railway capacity expansion projects worth ₹3,907 cr in Odisha and Jharkhand. This includes the doubling of the Paradeep–Haridaspur line and a fourth line between Rajkharsawan and Dangoaposi, adding 145 km to the network.
