This project is expected to generate approximately 19.98 lakh direct and 24.86 lakh indirect employment opportunities, boosting regional economic activity. The upgrade aims to alleviate congestion in Nashik by redirecting freight traffic to the Samrudhi Expressway and NH-848, with traffic flow projected to exceed 10,000 PCUs by 2028.
