Cairn Oil & Gas, part of Vedanta Ltd, announced a new gas discovery in the Ambe gas field, located in the CB/OSDSF/AMBE/2021 block. The find was made in appraisal well Ambe-2A and has been reported to the Directorate General of Hydrocarbons. The Ambe block spans 728.19 sq km and was awarded in September 2022. Evaluations for field development are underway.
