Foreign Portfolio Investors (FPIs) withdrew ₹13,138 cr from Indian equities in the first half of September, driven by global uncertainty and rising crude oil prices. This marks a shift after net inflows of ₹20,200 cr and ₹29,630 cr in July and August, respectively. Total FPI outflows for 2026 have now reached ₹2.37 lakh cr, surpassing the ₹1.66 lakh cr withdrawn in 2025.
