India has finalized the Letter of Request (LoR) for the acquisition of 114 Rafale fighter jets, valued at approximately ₹3.25 lakh cr. The LoR is expected to be sent to France soon, marking a significant step in the Make-in-India initiative. Nearly 90 jets will be manufactured locally, enhancing indigenous content to nearly 50%.
