JSW Steel unit requests government aid for gas supply shortages

after close1 source ↓written by the desknot a recommendation

JSW Steel Coated Products has requested government intervention to secure liquefied natural gas and propane supplies amid shortages linked to the Iran war. The company warns that production disruptions could adversely affect downstream customers and lead to supply deficits in sectors like food packaging and infrastructure.

With some steel plants already facing operational challenges, the situation could escalate if not addressed promptly.
