Larsen & Toubro’s Hydrocarbon Onshore business has secured a major EPCC contract from Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited for a large-scale petrochemical project at Bina, Madhya Pradesh. The project includes a LLDPE/HDPE swing unit with a capacity of 1,150 KTPA.

This contract is part of BPCL’s Bina Petrochemicals and Refinery Expansion Project, which aims to increase refinery capacity from 7.8 million metric tonnes to 11 million metric tonnes per annum, enhancing domestic polyethylene manufacturing standards.
