The National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT) has approved the Resolution Plan for Sinnar Thermal Power Limited submitted by NTPC and MAHAGENCO. This approval, granted on 28 November 2025, allows the implementation of the plan as per the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code, 2016.

The Sinnar plant has a capacity of 1,350 MW and is located in Nashik, Maharashtra, marking a significant step in its Corporate Insolvency Resolution Process.
