NLC India announced a ₹1.17 lakh crore capital expenditure plan aimed at expanding its mining and power operations by FY30. Revenue is projected to rise from ₹15,283 cr in FY25 to ₹37,713 cr by FY30, with mining capacity nearly doubling from 50.1 mtpa to 104.4 mtpa.
This investment will enhance lignite mining from 30.1 mtpa to 41.4 mtpa and coal mining from 20 mtpa to 62 mtpa. The company also targets a thermal capacity of 10 GW alongside a renewable energy capacity increase to 10 GW by FY30, supporting energy security and sustainability.
