Power Grid to raise ₹3,800 crore via bond issue

Power Grid Corporation of India has received board approval to raise up to ₹3,800 crore through a private placement of unsecured taxable bonds. The base size is set at ₹1,000 crore with a green-shoe option of ₹2,800 crore. These bonds will be listed on the BSE and NSE, redeemable in 10 annual instalments with yearly interest payments.
