Union Minister of Finance Nirmala Sitharaman will meet with heads of public sector banks (PSBs) on 13 Jul 2026 to assess their foreign currency deposit mobilisation efforts. The review follows recent RBI measures aimed at boosting foreign currency inflows and enhancing credit flow through overseas funding plans. Discussions will include FCNR deposits, Overseas Foreign Currency Bonds, and External Commercial Borrowings.
