Allianz Jio Reinsurance has appointed Sonia Rawal as CEO, effective 26 March. Rawal brings 17 years of experience in risk management and reinsurance, having previously managed the Indian and ASEAN markets at Allianz Reinsurance. The joint venture, a 50:50 collaboration between Jio Financial Services and Allianz Group, aims to strengthen the Indian insurance sector following IRDAI approval on 12 March.
