Tata is positioning itself for a multi-billion dollar contract to supply Medium Transport Aircraft to the Indian Air Force by establishing a maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) facility in Bengaluru. This facility will support the C-130J transport fleet and is expected to be operational by 2026, with the first aircraft arriving by early 2027. This move enhances Tata's role in the aerospace sector and strengthens its partnership with Lockheed Martin.
