Shares of Adani Power Limited rose 2.60% on 21 May, reaching a high of ₹226.40 on the NSE, following the signing of two agreements to acquire assets from Jaiprakash Associates Limited. The total outlay for the deals is ₹4,193.6 cr, including a ₹2,993.6 cr stake purchase in Jaiprakash Power Ventures and a ₹1,200 cr acquisition of the Churk thermal power plant.
