Brookfield India Real Estate Trust raised ₹2,000 cr through its first sustainability-linked bonds, offering a 7.06% coupon over five years. This follows a ₹3,500 cr equity raise to fund the acquisition of Ecoworld for ₹13,125 cr.

Brookfield India Real Estate Trust has successfully raised ₹2,000 cr through its first sustainability-linked bonds, with the 7.06% coupon rate and a five-year tenure. The International Finance Corporation (IFC) acted as the anchor investor, alongside various institutional investors.
This fundraising follows a recent ₹3,500 cr equity raise via a qualified institutional placement (QIP). The proceeds will partly finance the acquisition of Ecoworld, a major office campus in Bengaluru valued at ₹13,125 cr.
