The Defence Ministry plans to purchase 10 MALE drones for the Indian Coast Guard, with a ₹2,000 cr tender expected to attract bids from Adani, Solar, and Tata. This move aims to enhance surveillance capabilities along maritime boundaries, particularly concerning security with Pakistan.

This procurement could positively impact the defence sector, as increased spending on surveillance technology may boost investor sentiment and drive stock performance in related companies.
