GAIL (India) Limited has launched a tender for 600MW of engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) for a solar project at the TUSCO Jhansi Solar Park. This project includes a 275MW/550MWh battery energy storage system aimed at enhancing grid reliability and supporting GAIL's clean energy portfolio.

The selected contractor will manage all aspects of the project, including design, construction, and five years of operation and maintenance. This initiative is expected to bolster GAIL's renewable energy investments and improve utility-scale energy storage capabilities.
