Indian government bonds fell on Thursday as the benchmark 10-year yield rose 3 basis points to 7.2133%, its highest since April 2024. This week, yields increased nearly 10 basis points, the largest weekly rise since mid-August, amid global yield trends and inflation concerns. The spread between US and Indian yields is now at its tightest in over a year.
