IRB InvIT Fund has scheduled an Extraordinary General Meeting (EGM) on 24 Dec 2025 to obtain unitholder approval for the ₹1,217 crore acquisition of VM7 Expressway Private Limited. This project, currently owned by IRB Infrastructure Developers, includes a 27.5-km stretch of the Vadodara–Mumbai Expressway.

The EGM will also address extending secured debt and shareholder loans to the SPV, facilitating the repayment of existing loans. This move may enhance investor sentiment in the infrastructure sector.
