JSW Steel Ltd reported consolidated crude steel production of 6.59 mt for Q1 FY27, marking a 3% year-on-year increase. Indian operations contributed 6.35 mt, up from 6.14 mt in Q1 FY26, while the US subsidiary produced 0.24 mt. The growth was capped by the planned shutdown of Blast Furnace 3 for upgrades, which limited output. Excluding this impact, volumes would have surged by approximately 15% year-on-year.
