NHPC Limited has declared the Commercial Operation Date (CoD) for Unit #1 (250 MW) of the 2000 MW Subansiri Lower Hydro Electric Project in Assam/Arunachal Pradesh, effective from 20 Mar 2026. This milestone marks the operational start of three units totaling 750 MW capacity. Further commissioning dates for the remaining units will be announced later.
