Indian power companies will boost capital expenditure by 18.6% to over ₹1 lakh crore by 2026-27. Power Grid Corporation leads with a planned ₹37,000 crore capex, up from ₹28,000 crore this year. Other firms like NTPC and NHPC will also increase spending on thermal and hydro projects.
