PowerGrid Corporation has approved a capital expenditure of ₹1,226.93 crore for refurbishing the Bhadrawati High Voltage Direct Current installation. The project is set to be implemented over 36 months from the contract award date. Additionally, Powergrid commenced commercial operations on the Western Region Expansion Scheme-XXV project on 12 Nov.
