State-owned PowerGrid Corporation has approved a capital expenditure of ₹1,227 cr for refurbishing its Bhadrawati High Voltage Direct Current installation. The project is set to be completed within 36 months from the contract award date. Additionally, the company has commenced commercial operations on the Western Region Expansion Scheme-XXV, commissioned on 12 Nov.
