State-run Oil and Natural Gas Corporation has secured a licence from the US Treasury’s OFAC, enabling full-scale operations in Venezuela. This approval allows ONGC to expand oil production and negotiate new arrangements with local authorities. ONGC Videsh Ltd holds 40% in the San Cristobal project and 11% in Carabobo, enhancing its investment flexibility.
