Hindustan Construction Company (HCC) announced that its joint venture with VCCL has won a ₹577.89 crore contract from the Northeast Frontier Railway. The project involves the construction of four tunnels and associated earthworks for the Dimapur–Kohima rail line, enhancing connectivity in the Northeast. This contract may bolster HCC's revenue stream and strengthen its position in infrastructure development.
• 65% stake held by HCC in the JV
• Project includes Tunnel No. 9 (600m), Tunnel No. 11 (350m), Tunnel No. 13 (400m), and Tunnel No. 16 (600m)
• Work covers protection and ancillary tasks between Piphema and Zubza.
