Indian Oil Corporation Limited has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Re Sustainability to launch India's first structured initiative for the collection and recycling of used lubricating oil. This partnership aims to create a circular ecosystem for lubricant oil management, promoting resource efficiency and reducing reliance on virgin crude oils.

The collaboration will establish a Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV) to facilitate systematic recovery and re-refining of used lubricants, contributing to environmental sustainability and reducing foreign exchange outflows.
